Since 1997, Bruce Young has served as principal emergency planner at the Deseret Chemical Depot in Utah in support of the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP). His responsibilities include planning annual federally evaluated multijurisdiction emergency response exercises, writing and updating emergency plans and other documents, responding to requests by higher headquarters and other participants in the program, and attending meetings. Mr. Young has more than 8 years of experience in emergency planning and exercise evaluation in the Radiological Emergency Preparedness program.

Mr. Young received an M.S. and an M.P.A. from the University of Idaho and a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
