John Short is a retired Air Force Security Police Officer (26 years); former Director of Emergency Services for Pulaski County Arkansas (5 years), which included the Cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock; sitting member of the Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services Board for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and sitting member of the State of Arkansas’s Red Cross Emergency Response Group. He is a certified law enforcement training officer for the State of Arkansas and a certified instructor for the Arkansas Emergency Management Department.

Mr. Short received an M.S. in Police Administration from Webster’s University, a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement from the University of Maryland.
