Mary Duffy Braun

Mary Duffy Braun has 20 years of experience developing advanced modeling and simulation applications for various government agencies. She has been a member of the Enhanced Logistics Intra-theater Support Tool (ELIST) team since its inception. She is the primary developer of ELIST's discrete-event simulation, which models the large-scale movement of people and equipment over a constrained transportation network. She has substantial experience working with military logisticians and analysts on refining model requirements, developing capabilities, and providing technical support.  

Ms. Braun has worked on various model integrations and has experience resolving the granularity, timing, and control issues that are typically involved in such integrations. She has developed graphical user interfaces (GUIs), mapping applications, and other tools and has programmed extensively in Java, C/C++, and Prolog.

Ms. Braun received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Santa Clara and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
