Since 1979, Mr. Bragen has been involved with various software development projects across many different domains, including military logistics, consumer behavior, banking and finance, energy systems, and socioeconomic impacts of energy sector construction. His contributions to these projects include database design and management, database programming, graphical user interface (GUI) development, and modeling and simulation programming. He has used various modeling techniques such as agent-based modeling, discrete event simulation, and system dynamics. He has knowledge of and experience with a variety of programming languages such as Java, C, and Fortran.

Mr. Bragen received his B.A. and M.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
