Building Technologies Program Open Forum, Nov. 7, 2012

Time and location: 2-3pm Bldg. 203 Auditorium

The Argonne Building Technologies Program (BTP) is holding an open forum on Wednesday Nov 7, 2012. The focus of the forum is to exchange ideas about research that may have application to increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and foster opportunities for collaboration among the lab divisions. We are especially looking to find collaborative opportunities with sensors, controls, materials, and grid integration.

At the forum there will be a brief presentation on the background of the DOE BTP office, including their current research thrusts and the current Argonne BTP research efforts, followed by an open discussion period for the community to exchange ideas about current research, potential research, and potential funding opportunities that could be related or adapted to buildings. There will be no presentations during the open discussion period – just discussion.
