Chemical Agent Safety Videos
People working at or visiting a military installation where chemical agents are stockpiled must be briefed on a range of safety issues before coming on-post. Together with technical experts from CSEPP, Argonne has produced new safety videos for Pueblo Chemical Depot, Blue Grass Army Depot, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Newport Chemical Depot and Anniston Army Depot. Each video is site-specific and contains important information about the installation and its chemical agents, proper use of a protective mask, and necessary medical treatment in the event of exposure.

The Argonne team was responsible for all aspects of video production, including writing, shooting, and editing. The videos have been widely praised by the Army for their ability to take technical and complex subjects and present them in a clear, understandable way.

"The Very Best Thing We Could Have Done"—A JIC Case Study
Following Hurricane Katrina, dozens of states around the country provided shelter to those forced from their homes by the storm. In Utah, dislocated residents were initially housed at Camp Williams, where a Joint Information Center (JIC) was established to handle the extensive news media interest. This educational video provides first-person accounts from reporters covering the story and officials responsible for providing information to the public and demonstrates the importance and value of a JIC for everyone involved in a crisis response.
